Terms of service

Last updated: October 3, 2026

The short version

  • The website, the free readiness report and ACO™ membership are free and provided as they are.
  • The 5-product challenge is free for 14 days. If you continue, the readiness service is $150 a month, billed monthly, cancel anytime.
  • Every check we own passes by day 30 or your next month is free. If one still fails at day 90, we refund every fee you have paid.
  • We don't promise traffic, AI recommendations or sales, because AI platforms decide those, not us.
  • Ontario law applies. Questions: [email protected].

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Goofre, a Canadian company ("Goofre", "we", "us"). They apply when you use goofre.com, request a readiness report or scan, apply to or take part in the Agentic Commerce Orchestrator™ (ACO™) programme, or buy the Goofre readiness service.

If you use goofre.com for a business, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so. Our services are for businesses and professionals, not consumers. If you have a signed order or engagement agreement with us, it takes priority where it differs from these terms.

How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.

2. Using the website

You may use goofre.com for lawful purposes. Please don't:

The site's articles and figures are general information, not legal, financial or technical advice for your situation. Market figures come from the third-party sources we name beside them. Links to other sites are for convenience; we don't control those sites.

3. The free readiness report and scans

Only send a store you own or run, or one you maintain with its owner's permission. Our engine reads the store's publicly available pages and files, as an AI shopping agent would, and does not log in or access anything that isn't public.

A readiness report is a point-in-time assessment of what was public when we ran it. It is provided as is, without warranties. It is not a promise about how any AI platform will treat the store. We may decline or stop any request, for example if a store appears to be sent without permission.

4. The readiness service

The 5-product challenge

The challenge is free. You name up to 5 products from your store. We install and configure our storefront module, publish your UCP manifest, and work on those products' identifiers, descriptions and attributes so AI shopping agents can read them. Within 14 days of receiving admin access, we re-scan the 5 products and send you the before-and-after result.

At the end of the challenge you choose. If you continue, the readiness service starts and day 1 of the paid service is the day after the challenge ends. If you don't, we switch the module off, you keep the report, and you owe nothing. A product can only pass checks that depend on your product data, such as a GTIN, once that data exists in your catalogue.

Scope

The service is described on our service page and in the plan we agree with you after your audit. It covers the checks marked as owned by Goofre in that audit, plus Merchant Center alignment, GA4 AI-referral tracking, scheduled re-scans and monthly reporting. Changes outside that scope are agreed separately.

Fees and billing

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. Fees already paid are not refundable, except under the guarantee below.

What we need from you

If access or approvals are delayed, the guarantee dates below move back by the same amount of time.

The day-30 guarantee

At day 30 we re-scan your store and send you the result. If any check marked as owned by Goofre in your day-3 audit is still failing, your next month's fee is waived. If any of those checks is still failing on the re-scan at day 90, we refund every fee you have paid.

The guarantee does not cover:

The waiver and refund are your remedy if a check we own is not fixed on time.

Your store and who does the work

Your store, your data and your customer relationships stay yours. We access them only as needed to deliver the service. The work may be carried out by our engineering partner, Logic Rays, under our direction; we remain responsible for it to you.

Confidentiality

We each keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the service, except where the law requires disclosure.

5. The ACO™ programme

6. Intellectual property

The site, our readiness engine, storefront toolkit, console and report formats belong to Goofre. Reports we deliver to you are yours to use in your business. You keep all rights to your store and your data. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Goofre™, Agentic Commerce Orchestrator™ and ACO™ are trademarks of Goofre. Magento and Adobe Commerce are trademarks of Adobe Inc. Other names belong to their owners.

7. AI platforms and standards

AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, and standards such as UCP, ACP, AP2 and MCP, are controlled by third parties, including Google, OpenAI, Shopify and Adobe. They change often. We work to keep your store conformant as they change, but we don't control whether, when or how any platform shows or recommends a store.

8. Liability

Except as the paid service terms above say, our services are provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits, revenue, sales, traffic or data, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability arising from the paid service is limited to the fees you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. For free services, it is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Ontario, and we each agree to their jurisdiction. Before going to court, we'll try to resolve any dispute by talking to each other in good faith.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you are a paying client, we will email you about any change that affects your service at least 30 days before it applies, and it takes effect from your next billing month.
